Woman Beautiful Girdle And Stockings

Tuve el gusto de trabajar today in what was the largest educational project of this great man and still exists today in Caracas. It was a full teaching experience in every way and full of great satisfaction, despite the natural very bitter and unpleasant moments, which in spite of them, believe in me more than a positive balance in my time at that institution.

psychiatrist by profession, he became a teacher Rafael Vegas also for their love and concern for children, which found him in Venezuela institutes for the care and support of the most neglected and even drew up a plan of action for the promotion and protection the infant from the street. Member of the political generation of 1928, always held in high the deep sense of social responsibility that gave the inheritance, that membership in favor of change, modernization and freedom.

So always sought to innovate in the fields that act, dealing with it to promote the progress of this country, and not least, their boys, who were in their hands, whether as a psychiatrist, Minister of Education, Professor and Director School classroom.

For those who love their example is education and serves as a reference, coupled to the work of so many Venezuelans who wanted to promote the full development of youth as a real future and positive, as a real relief generation of this country.

I particularly liked the readings found between pages 83 to 89, in a masterly chapter called "The discipline as Rafael Vegas", which seems to me important consultation for any teacher of this century, because waters of the past can give us much encouragement and fresh for future steps.

From that episode I saw several ideas and thoughts, and at the end of the book, I finally decided to express in these lines ...

The world's most demanding profession .

Education is one of the most demanding tasks that can be humans, and many will qualify, not unreasonably, as a profession of "high impact." Rafael Vegas just called to the profession of teacher "the most demanding in the world."

sometimes I agree with that approach
(... Although he and I are living a reality very different situations and between the twentieth and twenty-first)

Because even when you do not expose your life to terrible dangers, or must perform exhausting days of great physical or psychological expertise and consultation to merit only, to give only the experience, the teacher is one of the most complex occupations may have.

have under your care more than 30 young people in a confined space and try to provide not only knowledge but also, as far as possible, enjoyable and pleasant environment that facilitates the understanding of such knowledge is not not easy, if every young person has needs and aptitudes and different ... and especially because the day is really only just 30, but up to 4 times that figure if you come to work from 7 am to a quarter to 2 in the afternoon.

then a job is tough.

Not only because this is not about giving only "the matter "but because you have under your care the formation of a few minds and spirits in growth, they are looking far beyond the" objectives of program are many answers to the questions that life is giving them as children no longer . Girls and boys are hungry for examples, experiences and points of reference to guide their lives close to maturity, girls and boys can even say that seeking some affection and a lot of understanding. They are souls that are still growing and always looking for growth not only adventure and madness, but quite simply LEARN, learn about life and its big secret for them as well take them, understand them, enjoy them if necessary and take advantage of them for the future that both want and do not reach them yet because it must patiently build themselves.

So the teacher not only becomes a facilitator of knowledge and skills, but becomes in fact, a mentor, someone who should be there to be within the extent possible, to be a hand friends, support them encouragement and guidance, not just the "pat on the shoulder" much less "the wipe of tears", but someone who will accompany the traffic school is the boy with his experience and knowledge, to be valid for a moral and positive that can shore up fully to the young, always so clueless in these very complex and turbulent.

Sometimes it is successful with some young, others less so. Although the teacher has a universal origin ("serve everyone equally"), inevitably the same circumstances of their profession and their own personality, always be relied on a select group who receive the message and take the witness, (and surely will narrow minds as a group of "preferred"), that going beyond the sympathy and the "I like" is becoming a group stimulated to grow and learn healthy: know that you have found more than a teacher , a teacher and someone who within the limits of respect and trust, a friend can become useful not only in the field of knowledge but also within the human condition. And the latter is not free from doubt, suspicion and misunderstanding from many people with vision in the past see education only a matter of exchange of knowledge, or those who think that the figure of the teacher has to be that of a distant and powerful "emperor" in the classroom and nothing more, or believe that all young people only a matter of discipline (or psychologists) or any attempt malpiensan always innovation in education and the treatment of boys, or even those who still loaded with the best intentions end up confusing to learners that humor is "immature" because at the bottom of their hearts and minds disguise their bitterness (and temper) with "seriousness."

is therefore a strong work.

Not to mention it can be for them boys! ... Just imagine that at that age is always strong up many times before 6 am to stay locked in a classroom for more than 5 hours received weekly the incessant bombardment of information more than 10 subjects, which are not always pleasant or interesting, something shocking. And then must return home to fulfill the responsibilities of these subjects, having to carry your time with the weight of its many complex problems typical of the old (default, disagreements, confusion, etc..) Amid the relentless pressure is to fulfill their own dreams and aspirations of parents, friends and classmates ... or sentimental in its small but certainly intense and complex social life.

But nobody said it was easy, being a teacher and teaching, and being young and growing.

And even with this, struggle does not end. Can not finish. Follow sign the teacher's duty to teach the young and so assist in any way possible to grow, especially to grow well.

If it was difficult to Rafael Vegas at a time when the country had every type of material and cultural gaps, and slowly took a face to a large extent has today (passed in farming and oil rural and urban, and especially lived a turbulent political transition from despotism to democracy caudillista formal) ceases to be not now, because with all the technological and pedagogical advantages we have today, the challenges are just as difficult and even more complex, because although the teacher living in an era where almost all are literate is no longer respected and valued as socially before the age of Vegas (which abounded illiterate), we can say that there is almost no family, (not like before where there was a strong sense of home, even without the presence of the father) so today feels a strong impact on the youth of a crisis of values, where there are no implicit respect for the norms, rules, institutions or larger, which also results in an exponential increase in psychological violence, verbal and physical inside and outside the classroom and a great disdain if not contempt to work and study as guiding principles for the formation of a honest citizen, capable and active.

looks like a quasi-apocalyptic challenge, but nobody said it was easy. And so no one will stop doing the work, and even with the tough challenges that we do not jump, but explode into view, all these elements are part of the profession of teacher, because the demands have changed and will remain so : requirements, which will be severe depending on the time and context, but the teacher is named permanently to overcome, to overcome . And only the teacher should begin work to fix the wrongs that make the same demands that their work is so difficult ... and equally necessary.

And with new requirements, we must address the role of teacher with new visions, with novel optical, progressive and unorthodox, because social realities have changed and asked to react accordingly.

today so I think and affirm, as I've seen in my personal experience that the teacher more than ever must be a mentor, must be "within the extent of its capabilities. possibilities and needs, rather than the "second father" the first true father to those students who have not known to yours truly, that with the abandonment of the boy in the twentieth century (even formally taking home and family, and property is feels alone and confused to their problems) must be given in the fullest measure, all the affection they may need, but also all the discipline they need, because only then and in the context of decomposition and seizure of live is the only way I know values and principles, rather than study and data concepts, definitions and complex operations, learn things that mark life positively, because only good professionals, good citizens and they need only arise when we bring good people . Is not this a profession of sacrifices? For the twenty-first century challenges facing the teacher has a lot to do, but one that certainly has nothing to do with regret, because among many things is called to be to their students a true friend and if necessary can be a big brother that his experience is a guide and a partner with affection. That is the key that can make a difference.

is not utopia, but a necessity and a challenge to achieve.

Thanks for reading!

The exhumation of the Liberator

On July 16 came in a surprising manner the process of exhumation of the remains of Simón Bolívar, El Libertador.
Due to the extraordinary (ie, unusual and uncommon) the fact and therefore has a historical character (the first time it does so at public and media) think it is necessary to hereby express our opinion as a historian, as were several people who asked for our opinion, among family, friends, colleagues and of course students. Here
our opinion, which is presented in a clear, synthetic crude and as possible not to dwell too much on this point, they carry out in the context of the harsh political polarization in Venezuela since 1998 will not be outside the controversial.

  1. All this is done to please the whim of President Hugo Chavez, using his status as the highest authority of the Republic uses all the power that gives his office (in a country and presidential powers centralized) to once again impose their will, discretion and sound. I had done before: In 1999cuando won the title of "Bolivarian" the Republic against a constituent who had not agreed to this. Or recently: In 2006 when he changed the flag and national emblem to your liking and in 2007 when he put the "strong bolivar" as currency or as he put the 4-F as a national holiday.
  2. As he believes, "is convinced" that Bolívar was poisoned and killed him itself to do, and becomes an exhumation. For that is the power he uses and enjoys. But very likely if a particular Autonomic anonymous or a body such as the Academy of History or university had ever requested an exhumation had allowed.
  3. may even think that this is a genuinely scientific work and contribute more to end the Bolivarian myth exists throughout our history. But the use of "Science" as a substitute for "religion" is not a very valid argument for this case, because here to review a body is not eliminated "the Bolivarian myth" or its "cult" which has never been focused precisely on the physical presence of man, but the impact of the work did that man. In any case what happens is that reconstructs the myth and cult, and be guided to new levels or stages and that the thing is worrying because we know that Paez, Guzmán Blanco, Gomez, Pérez Jiménez López Contreras and gave each a vision (or manipulation) and as is now assumed Bolivar will give a "new" and perhaps craziest part of many that have given ("Father of the national ecology) will be as safe now Bolivar in the '60s anti father of American imperialism, precursor of socialism in Venezuela ( the full speech here) pioneer of the guerrillas before Che and so many more stupid things, because "Science" that exhumed and reviewed "and can say."
  4. also exhumed Did not Christopher Columbus and Napoleon was revised, and there was no such scandals as here? To make valid comparisons, all variables have to be on equal footing, so can not compare the case of Bolivar with Columbus and Napoleon, as with the first 3 cities are those who claim possession of her remains and is more research that clearly defining the necessary authenticity. With Napoleon you have to remember that the death was a prisoner and in that state of captivity was fair and valid to assume that his death could have been for reasons beyond the natives, especially the ongoing health complaints expressed to those who visited and left in reports, reports and interviews, therefore there was a very strong reasonable doubt. Bolivar (except Dr. Jose "Pepe" Izquierdo in his book: "Liberator The Skull", 1961) no one has doubted the authenticity of the remains and only very few question, without further arguments and documents causes of death, including Chavez.
  5. In the days of the Bolivarian Exhumation visited Venezuala various relics belonging to the Catholic saint San Juan Bosco and there were voices who tried vainly to make comparisons between the two cases, despite the nonsense that is. Here's why: In the same way I do not think wise to make comparisons with the relics of Don Bosco (a Catholic saint) with the remnants of Bolivar (a military hero) as their roles in society and its impact on same, are well defined and therefore different procedures of the collective appreciation to them. I think no one in his trial will put the Liberator in a procession, much less that the Ministry of Education to require that San Juan Bosco is the patron of education and guidance national public. There are two things that are in two different areas.
  6. there
The national institutions involved in all, this is no guarantee of anything, for the same polarization of the country. Just as there are people located on the tips or ends of the political spectrum, there are institutions, regardless of their prestige. So the government is suspicious and does not believe the credibility of the Academy of History, national universities and research institutes, Well, the IVIC and Idea, (I have no doubt they are great centers of excellence in the pursuit of knowledge) but they rely on the state and break what they say the maximum authorities who control, as has been done with the BCV or INE that voice (or rather scolding) Chavez figures have changed when it should be like or what they are indicating . (Not to mention the DPP and the CICPC, which is not yet clear who killed prosecutor Danilo Anderson )
  7. Inevitably the use of the figure of Bolivar called the controversy because we are in a context of polarization. Not even Libertador that escapes, while his appeal is and why of confusing and inconsistent handling (it's "Bolivarian Socialism" is perhaps the biggest blunder in this case) and adjetivización is a clear indication of political bias, because today in the specific context where we are, "Bolivarian" no means no fan or follower of the thinking of the Liberator, but the Chavez as well as by that there are associations, federations, unions and many groups exist that are adjectives well and is supporting the current government, not knowing or having clear nothing enlightened liberal thought of Bolivar and the centralist and military nationalism is the only thing that stopped him be a man of action than ideology. Also valid is also suspected of misuse of Bolivar and his remains, because if done with his sword , which is carried rallies, no guarantees that will not give any suspected use of their bones or even your place of rest.
  8. this event seems completely obvious the country in which we live and the serious and urgent problems that happens. Therefore we must say that of course most important problems exhume Bolívar . It is foolish not to think so. In life he was more concerned about the fate of his contemporaries that he is paid permanent tribute, now see with horror that just when he is dead and does not need anything, they focus too much attention and resources to indulge whims and follies of the government of the day. Only those who live a comfortable life thanks to the high office that gives the State , protected by bodyguards and with large salaries that allow them to buy and time what you want (here or abroad) fix their attention on whims and intellectual banalities as to disturb the repose of the Liberator. They do not buy that insurance on stocks where if you make the majority, or crowded public transport use , not go to hospitals collapsed abandoned or the Barrio Adentro not have either, the safe, abundant offspring maintain far least be up long staircases to reach or leave their homes as many Venezuelans to them, the revolutionaries bureaucrats do not seem to worry them for issues like violent and personal insecurity overwhelmed (which for them is a matter of " perception "), the immense cost of living the lack of water and electricity (with course generated protests) or uncontrolled the morbid corruption case allowing shameful as the rotting food at the hands of companies and government officials things as they are not really important in your day a day, because they live a comfortable life full of luxury and waste. First
  9. criticism independent intellectual sectors to the government, the permanent response of state agencies (such as the Ministry of Culture , The National History Center and the Archivo General de la Nación , all from the mouths of their respective directors) have only disqualification brandished the contrary opinion, filling epithets at those who have expressed opposition to the exhumation. Quite a few supporters of Chavez continued this pattern and called the sector of Culture that is in opposition as a "frigid and sterile intellectualism." But truth be told: The "intelligentsia frigid and sterile," who opposed and opposes Chavez is the same inherited and of which from 1936 gave Venezuela prestige and importance in the world in the fields of knowledge , the arts and sciences in general. I would like to see intellectual novels Chavez to fame Doña Bárbara Gallegos, poems Montejo as Sculpture as de Soto, testing the Uslar Pierti hows and Picon Salas, historians such as Knight or Manuel Pino Iturrieta, Publishing and the Ayacucho Library Ramón J. Medina, medical research such as Convit, MACSI museums such as the Network of Libraries as those promoted by Virginia Betancourt and music like Sojo, Antonio Lauro, or who plays Dudamen and Simón Bolívar Symphony, the work of José Antonio Abreu, Minister for the culture of the 2 nd administration of Carlos Andrés Pérez (and the entire period)
  10. Finally, if this had been another type of government, less personal to please the whim of the commander now, and he appointed his finger at members of necrophilic commission, without consultation, was a more inclusive government by allowing other sectors to be part of the scientific event (Academy of History and National University) for advice and support, and was a genuine government of Venezuela, who had used Bolivar to unite and not as usual to divide between "good and bad kids," this event would have for the whole nation would have merited significance beyond the mire of the bitter controversies that we are accustomed to seeing for 11 years.

Play Mighty Guy On Funbrain

year
occasion Bicentennial of our independence, and today when Exactly 199 years of the formal declaration of it, I take time to make a contribution for the study, analysis and dissemination of national history, which always looks favorably affected in the years of remembrance, because precisely the ephemeris and this call to remember it asks us not only the simple account of what happened or went but also a deeper meditation on why we are what we are today.

In the past 10 years has been increasing interest in many people, who are not among regular readers, wanting to approach the story, since much of what happens in our present moves them to know the answer basic questions on men, date, period or process: "what is" "When was" and especially "why." Taking advantage of that wave of interest in the past, to help better understand the present, we embarked on a new company blogueril

Thus I have undertaken the implementation of a series on this blog that I recommend books to study and analysis of our history, taking into account their availability in the market and its editorial today. Like any selection, it will be imperfect, as being arbitrary and reflect the tastes of that makes it, and also because it takes a comprehensive approach that seeks to reach the entire reading public, not only to specialists. Because of that may not be present here some "classical core" yes it should be. Also, only selected texts that are available now in the bookshops, publishers and distributors, as there is a clear objective in my lines: guide for the reader to know what to look for or where to go to learn more about the subject, stage or historical period that most caught his attention.

If that is achieved, will have completed these lines and this series its fundamental purpose.

I. GENERAL STORIES:

Here are the texts that seek to include in its content, the entire national historical process, as a sum data without further analysis of them. They are works that are classified as works of reference, ie encyclopedic works and general purposes, not specialized, which serve to guide the reader specifying dates, names and other information specific to serve as a complement to simple investigations or indicator of certain elements deeper aspects of work.

Dictionary of History of Venezuela . Made by the Polar Foundation is a classic that can not miss on any list of books on national history. Brought together over 300 specialists from different areas to make an exemplary reference work both biographical and bibliographical not only on facts and events of political and military developments, but the various aspects of our society. The last issue of 1997 consists of 4 volumes and won a prize in a prestigious editorial festival in Germany. And although editorially is exhausted, you can get in some bookstores. I particularly, I was informed that the Foundation plans to re Polar print in the year 2010, because it is a two-century date, and take advantage of the natural interest in history that the commemorations wake.

Venezuela Global History. Published by Globe of Venezuela, the same that produced the Great Encyclopedia of Venezuela (10 volumes) This time it meets in a work of 4 volumes, all content related to the history of Venezuela that was in the aforementioned encyclopedia, under the guidance academic at the Catholic University Andrés Bello, UCAB and the direction of Elias Pino Iturrieta, at the time, Director of the institute of historical research of this house of studies and director of the National Academy of History. Apart from the narrative and analysis of major historical events, with annexes on the constitutions and constituents, presidents, chronology of events. The work was published in 2004 and is still accessible to the public. It can be purchased directly at the headquarters of the publisher.

Tierra Nuestra, 1498-2009. The foundation publishes the "positive Venezuela, is the latest public work of general history as it was released in 2009. It consists of two volumes, which analyzes national historical process from pre-Columbian era to the Government of Hugo Chávez, with the exception of indigenous period, the colonial era and war of independence, the book is the sequence of descriptions and analysis of all the presidents of the republic since Páez to Chavez, giving the piece a very marked character to the biographical and toward the political. Conducted by a team of leading experts, the work is worth as a reference and consultation, as each chapter has its respective references. It is available in bookstores and also at the headquarters of the foundation.

Venezuela time. Manuel Guevara Baro. Edited by books El Nacional, this is a short but interesting as a manual with annotated chronology of major events and events of our history. Their inclusion here is because we felt readable and accessible text on national history, which may well serve as a guide to orient on the dates and topics of our past. The game comes with internal illustrations and are two volumes: the first is from the Discovery of our territory or p the English in 1498 until the beginning of Independence in 1810. The second volume is from the latter date, to the installation of the oil business in our economy (years 30) It should be noted that whoever performs the work is not a professional historian (is actually an electrical engineer) but no limited or minimized the work, which can reach a large and diverse audience-students especially-and that is great merit. It is available in most bookstores in the country or at the outlets of El Nacional. Contu
